Audacity is a recording app where you can make podcasts. In Multimedia class we made a podcast about what Edublogs is and something we wanted to talk about, I chose to talk about some of my favorite hobbies. Yes, I like using Audacity, it is fun making a podcast its not something I have ever done before. It is very easy to use, its simple and you can easily navigate to what you need to do. I would use Audacity again. I would use Audacity to make a podcast about my life and to remember what my voice sounded like for the future.

Today in Multimedia class we read about how the Internet is rewiring our brains.

“How Does Technology Affect Our Brains?” Technology is addicting. It has become a part of our everyday lives. The Internet has people addicted to using it. The Internet is an addiction to many people. The social media makes people feel bad about themselves, like making people jealous, alone, and depressed. People addicted to the Internet tend to become more angry and depressed. Teenagers using the Internet are more at risk for mental health issues, even suicidal thoughts. The Internet can make you more forgetful and less concentrated. It slows your brain’s thoughts down and makes your learning process slower. It can enhance the brains in older adults. The Internet is bad for your brain. You can easily get addicted. It is good to take a break from the Internet. Don’t be on the Internet for countless hours. The Internet is good but it can be bad too. This is how the Internet affects your brain.

Today in Multimedia class I watched a video called “Did You Know.” What I thought was interesting was how the generations are growing and changing everyday. I thought that the 3.5 billion searches on Google everyday were interesting. Instagram has two billion monthly users. I thought that Spotify 295 million listeners is interesting because I also use Spotify. Every year 140 million babies will be born around the world. This isn’t a surprise that 3.8 billion people own a smartphone.

A Day Made of Glass

Today in Multimedia class I watched a video called “A Day Made of Glass.” What I thought was interesting on the video “A Day Made of Glass” was all the technology is glass. The LCD Television is a touchable glass TV. The Automotive glass was interesting to me because the whole interior is touch screen and today we have some touch screens in cars. All Weather surface glass is cool because it’s glass technology that is weather proof.
